The Ola Maui i ka Hula program (health through hula), is an 8-month culturally-based study for Native Hawaiians and Pacific Islanders to address the vascular risk factors of Alzheimer’s disease and other related dementia, such as high blood pressure, high cholesterol, diabetes and overweight. The program includes Alzheimer’s Disease and Related Dementia (ADRD) education, and twice a week hula training. Open to men and women, and no hula experience required.
