Cameron Center Executive Director Cesar Gaxiola has announced the start of one of two projects supported with funding from The Clarence T.C. Ching Foundation. Arisumi Brothers heavy equipment operator Billie Silva prepares the ground for the sidewalk that will lead to the newly constructed stage at the Cameron Center. In the background, carpenter Gladys Laforge works on stage support and posts that will support the completed stage. The stage, a dream of the Cameron Center since its inception, will include space for benches and a shade cover. Resident agencies will be able to reserve the stage for agency events, fund raising and staff achievement recognitions.
