The mission of the Maui Community Mental Health Center is to provide a comprehensive system of care through which adults in Maui County with serious mental illness or in acute emotional crisis are assisted to function better and live as independently as possible to pursue life goals of their choosing.

 

Programs offered include Mental Illness/Substance Abuse, Co-Occurring Clinical Disorders Group, Medication Group and Pain Medication Group.  Mental health services are provided at Maui Community Mental Health Center, Molokai Mental Health Service, and Lanai Counseling Services and at Maui satellite sites in Hana, Lahaina and Pukalani.

 

Maui Community Mental Health Center accommodates Project OASIS (Older Adults Specialized Information Systems).  The purpose of this project is to increase Maui County’s capacity to provide specialized and enhanced mental health and social services to people over the age of 60.   The Geriatric Mental Health Specialist at Project Oasis can be reached at (808) 268-4451 and the Research Associate at (808) 268-4393.
