Established in 1954 by a group of parents who sought services for their children when none were available, ARC of Maui County has continues to provide essential programs for people with developmental disabilities and their families.

Our four residential homes provide client supervision 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. Program includes case management, onsite nursing care, professional recreation therapy, individualized diets and wheelchair-accessible vans for transportation. Persons enjoy a lifelong approach to daily activities and skills in personal hygiene, food preparation, safety and personal management with a caring and trained staff.

The Home and Community Based Services (H&CBS) on Maui, Molokai and Lanai provides a disabled person with a trained one-on-one staff in meeting the goals of the client’s choice. Transportation is provided for events such as social interaction, Special Olympics, and educational opportunities.
