Velma Becraft, Chief of Operations
Raised in a family of seven in Na‘alehu - Ka‘u District, on the Big Island, Velma Becraft is of Hawaiian, Chinese, Spanish and Norwegian descent. She graduated from Ka'u High School and went on to enlist for active duty service in the Army. After an honorable discharge, she moved to Maui in 1991. Shortly after moving to Maui, Velma married Jamie Becraft in 1993 and in 1995 they had a daughter, Sloan. Jamie Becraft is a Sergeant with the Maui County Police Department, Community Relations Division. More ..
