Kahi Kamali‘i is an Infant-Toddler Center owned by the J. Walter Cameron Center and operated by Maui Economic Opportunity, Inc.  Kahi Kamali‘i is designed to be a place where children can grow and develop in a supportive, safe, nurturing environment.  Childcare services are provided for children ages 12-36 months.

Kahi Kamali‘i’s philosophy is that young children are valued and respected as individuals.  Children are highly capable of exploring while learning new skills each and every day.  Parents are the child’s first teachers, making the family unit unique and significant to the program.  Kâhi Kamali‘i believes that young children learn best in an environment that promotes safety along with encouragement, security and responsive caregivers.

There is a monthly fee for services.   Families that qualify for Childcare Connection are encouraged to apply for funding to assist with tuition payments.
